Before starting it is important to have all material ready.
The first step is to take the 22ga half hard gold-filled wire, GW22HH, make a loop on one end then cut the wire to have enough space to put the lapis bead, SLA101, and make another loop at the other end, then repeat this process, but before closing every loop make sure you connect it to the last one, this process creates the chain. This mala has 38 beads and it measure approximately 26.5 inches. With the remaining three beads you are going to do the pendant part which ypu are going to connect using the same process you used on the necklace part of the rosary. First you are going to put in the gold-filled spacer bead, GB204A, then the TierraCast buddha head, P5718GA, and then again the spacer bead, you are going to make the second loop and then add the lapis beads in the same secuence as in the necklace, at the last bead before closing the last loop you are going to add the TierraCast OM, P2297GB. This bead will give your rosary a beautiful and meaningful fisnish, then connect the pendant part to the necklace by using the gold-filled jumpring, GJRO6. Now your Mala is ready to wear. |
