Nothing says royal like rich ruby red and gold. This entire set is economical as well as beautiful since all 3 pieces can be made by using the same ruby quartz strand and 1 pack each of the components.
The necklace and bracelet are simple stringing projects. The ruby quartz beads are kept in their graduated state with each bead separated by 2 vermeil daisies and a single 4mm Swarovski Aurum 2X crystal. The necklace and bracelet use the same style vermeil "S" hook clasp but an extender chain has been added to the necklace (Please note that the S hook shown is slightly different than shown in the parts list). The finished length on the necklace as shown is 17" plus a 2.5" extender chain for added length. The bracelet is an 8" length.
The earrings are made by simply stacking a ruby quartz bead, a vermeil daisy and a Swarovski Aurum 2X crystal onto a headpin and looping the top to dangle from a lever back earring.
When starting this project, make sure you use the 2 smallest ruby quartz beads on the strand for the earrings and then take off the next 8 smallest beads to use for the bracelet. REMEMBER that this strand is graduated and you need to take the beads off both ends...not all from the same side.
A very simple beading project with a very exquisite result.
